WCW Foundation Celebration Luncheon -- Building Bridges With Our Community For 60 Years

The WCW's Ballroom was filled with excitement, joy, gratitude, and many smiles on Thursday, March 20, as more than 150 WCW members, grant recipients and guests celebrated 23 Milwaukee area nonprofit organizations and the 60th anniversary of the WCW Foundation. Not only was the ballroom decorated in a festive manner but each table also featured a bridge centerpiece, designed and fabricated by Notre Dame School of Milwaukee 3rd grade students from Ms. Daisy Delgado’s classroom. While the WCW Foundation awarded $58,000, the excitement didn’t stop there. We were also happy to share with everyone that the Hoan Bridge, also operated by a nonprofit, would be illuminated that evening in the colors of purple, teal and pink. Our theme, “Building Bridges with Our Community,” symbolizes our Foundation’s 60-year history of supporting Milwaukee area nonprofits who, in turn, support those in need. This theme shows what can be achieved with creative collaboration.
