The program may end. The conversation rarely does.

At WCW, events are built around curiosity, culture, and connection.

From author dinners and speaker programs to music, fashion, history, wellness, civic conversation, and signature celebrations, every gathering brings people into the room and into the story.

Some events are for members.
Some welcome guests.
Some invite the wider Milwaukee community inside.

All of them carry the same feeling: history, hospitality, and women making their mark.

Join us for the U.S. premiere of ABAKAMANIA, an acclaimed documentary celebrating the life and work of internationally renowned sculptor Magdalena Abakanowicz.

This special event has a unique connection to the Woman’s Club of Wisconsin. In honor of the Club’s 125th anniversary, the WCW Foundation commissioned Abakanowicz’s monumental sculpture, The Birds of Knowledge of Good and Evil, which has stood outside our clubhouse on Kilbourn Avenue since 2001.

Produced by acclaimed filmmakers Róża Fabjanowska and Sławek Malcharek, the film follows Abakanowicz’s extraordinary artistic journey across Europe, Asia, and America, revealing the woman behind one of the world’s most influential bodies of work.

As we celebrate 150 Years of Women Making Their Mark, experience an unforgettable evening where international art, Milwaukee history, and the legacy of visionary women come together.
